FOUNDER

“…change begins in the 5 minutes it takes to call a representative or 5 hours volunteering at a local nonprofit.”

Hannah Woodruff founded Arizona Women in 2019 as a way for women to become informed and engaged on the issues impacting our families and our community. But the journey that inspired Arizona Women began several years before. Hannah didn’t see herself as a force for change until she volunteered at a local Crisis Pregnancy Center. There, she became more informed about the pro-life issue and discovered there are easy and tangible ways to make a difference. Now she’s passionate about helping other women make the same discovery! She believes change begins in the 5 minutes it takes to call a representative or 5 hours volunteering at a local nonprofit.

Hannah moved to Arizona in 2007 to attend Northern Arizona University to study Elementary and Special Education. After teaching special education in the greater Phoenix area for a few years, she provided in-home therapy to kids with special needs while completing her masters in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Behavior and Autism at Arizona State University. Post-graduation, she started a swim school continuing her focus on kids with special needs.

Today, her days are spent raising her two young daughters, supporting her husband who is a dentist in the valley, being involved in their church, and building the Arizona Women community. She is passionate about conservative politics and helping women make the connection between how policy impacts our day to day lives. She also enjoys baking cookies for neighbors and friends, reading, and working out.
